Syntech Plastics celebrates its 20th anniversary

20 years characterised by innovation, quality and passion

When Cüneyt Karaoglu took the plunge into self-employment in 2003, he started with 2 injection moulding machines, 4 employees and a great deal of support from his brothers Cengiz and Hüseyin Karaoglu. It was not an easy start. But even then, all three were driven by their unbridled passion for plastics technology, their innovative spirit and their high standards of quality and precision.

Cüneyt was also able to win over his new customers with firmly established values such as reliability, commitment and active, trusting cooperation. People and an open communication culture have always been at the centre of Syntech - both in the relationship with employees and with customers and suppliers.

As the company grew, a new location was soon needed. In their search, the Karaoglu brothers met Franz Wiefering from Lohne, who later also became a partner in Syntech Plastics GmbH. In 2007, the current company premises were built on his property on Bergmannstraße in Steinfeld, where 4 production halls, 4 warehouses and the administration building now stand. The gratitude towards Franz Wiefering, may he rest in peace, is incredibly great at Syntech and his memory will be honoured forever.

'Creating new things, developing existing ones, finding solutions for complex and special requirements - that has always been our drive, that's what we're passionate about,' says Cüneyt Karaoglu, summarising the strengths and parts of the recipe for success. 'We have grown continuously and sustainably over the past two decades and have developed step by step from an injection moulding company to a full-service provider,' says Cüneyt Karaoglu. 'We are a little proud'. 'But we never forget that we owe the company's success first and foremost to our dedicated employees.' Although Syntech now employs more than 130 people, there is still a very informal atmosphere and strong team spirit. An ideal basis for a continued successful future together.
